If you have wondered if Biblical prophecy may be accurate and may begin to come to pass during your lifetime, this story will definitely focus your thoughts, particularly on the potentially devastating attack on Israel that can only be turned back by Divine intervention.Rosenberg invites us to pay attention to the signs of the times. The story is a series of intertwined cliffhangers with a fine underlying romance. People don't like to think about death, and may be even more averse to thinking about the possible end of the world as we know it. The main characters tend too much toward being superheroes to be fully believable, though many readers seem to like it that way.
If you like fast-paced action stories or if you like books that are based on Biblical prophecy, you will enjoy reading The Ezekiel Option (and others in this series). His exciting and well-researched story highlights the signs while at the same time giving great reading pleasure. The amazing and uncanny parallels between Rosenberg's story and recent events in the world cannot be dismissed, particularly since much of his text was written before the unfolding of the actual events. If you like both, then you absolutely need to read this book.
But all this is not what makes the book special. There is a purpose to this book that is important. Author of ARROWS THROUGH TIME: A Time Travel Tale of Adventure, Courage, and Faith. If you like neither, well.I am not a great fan of action thrillers, but can say the author does a good job in this regard. There are violent and apocalyptic scenes, but they are overly dramatized.
This book could have been written with newspaper headlines that have been published since the book was printed. Joel Rosenberg is one of the most cutting edge authors I have ever read. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in future events.
Rosenberg nails it. His fiancee, Erin McCoy was with him during the gunfight, and was also wounded and put in a hospital. and Israel. I think it's so realistic and exciting.
His scenarios throw you into the action and keep you interested in what happens next. The newly-named Russian czar releases Bennett and keeps Erin and tortured her. I strongly say that Joel C. If you are a Rosenberg fan, a bookworm, a political guru, or just a plain old American, you need to read The Ezekiel Option. Rosenberg it the ultimate best novelist today. The Soviets, (the Russians) will rise again and will try to destroy the U.S.
I really enjoyed the climax buildup of how Bennett feels the mad rush to rescue her and get her back to the States. Long live Bennett and Rosenberg. It's not if, it's when.I love the situation Rosenberg puts Bennett in. Bennett gets wounded in a coalition fight against rebels and the Kremlin's forces, and ends up in a hospital in Russia.
Mr. Sound like real horses and wood weapons to me.So this leaves 2 possibilities.either the Russians are going to digress to pre-16th century warfare (and ride all the way from Moscow to Tel-Aviv on horseback), or this is actually a past-tense battle. In the aftermath of the battle, Ezekiel 39 says that wild beasts gorge themselves on the flesh of the horses (v20) and the locals use the clubs, bows, arrows, and spears as firewood for the next 7 years (v9).
Rosenberg had actually read the book of Ezekiel, or if he just super-imposed his weak plot over the Biblical prophecy in order to draw in the "left behind" crowd. If you actually read Ezekial 38, its a pretty different story than the one Mr. Horses are actually tanks, and clubs are actually assault rifles. This book left me wondering whether Mr.
Well, read on. Rosenberg's story doesn't fit into either. Rosenberg lays out.
The invading army comes rolling in "all of them riding horses" and brandishing an assortment of primitive weapons, all of which haven't been in service with the Russian army for three or four hundred years.Symobolic, you say.
No matter what your belief system is ~ consider keeping up with Joel. I started Joel's series because I'd read Epicenter. This entire series rocks with focus, twists and turns, and incredible insight ~ both real from study, and imaginative "what if" scenarios.
